Systems Analyst

1. Perform the successful analysis, design, development, and implementation of information systems.
2. *Follow specifications and procedures during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
3. *Adhere to critical district deadlines.
4. *Adhere to development, scheduling, and delivery of project plans.
5. *Use data translation, synchronization, and compiling to develop and support data sourcing and output to optimize operations. 6. *Support reporting and analytics applications.
6. Support applications development.
7. *Develop data dashboards and applications for end user data reporting and analysis.
8. *Assure compliance with district and departmental standards.
9. *Keep current with hardware and software technology through education courses and self- study.
10. *Assume responsibility for specific systems/applications as assigned.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Business Applications, Assistant Director - SIS, Director of Software & Systems, or CTO., REPORTS TO Manager of Business Applications or Assistant Director, Student Information Systems as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree with major work in a field related to Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year experience demonstrating expertise in data analysis, software development, data systems design, or database administration. Hands-on experience with complex enterprise systems and/or large databases.

REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge of information systems analysis, design, and development Proficiency with software development tools. Establish and maintain professional working relationships with teams, leadership, customers, and the general public. Ability to timely troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Proven experience as an enterprise system project team member. Preferred K-12 experience.
