Job description
Seeking an experienced OpenBMC Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in embedded Linux, C/C++, Redfish, and server management technologies., * Develop and maintain OpenBMC firmware and Redfish/bmcweb services.
- Develop REST APIs compliant with DMTF Redfish standards.
- Support platform management, hardware monitoring, firmware updates, and board bring-up.
- Debug Linux, middleware, and hardware interface issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and platform teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and firmware releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded firmware/software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ and Linux programming skills.
- Hands-on OpenBMC, Redfish, bmcweb experience.
- Knowledge of D-Bus, systemd, phosphor services, Git/Gerrit.
- Experience with Yocto, Python, IPMI, PLDM, or MCTP is a plus.
- Strong debugging and communication skills., * D-Bus, systemd, phosphor services, Git/Gerrit: 5 years (Preferred)
- C/C++ and Linux programming: 5 years (Required)
- OpenBMC, Redfish, bmcweb : 5 years (Required)
- embedded firmware/software development : 5 years (Required)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Santa Clara, CA 95056
