Job description
- Develop and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including data model design, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing design.
- Build and manage ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines and data management integrations using SQL, Python, Java, Informatica, Talend, or similar tools.
- Integrate data from SQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, RESTful APIs, and linked data sources across public cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure Data Lake.
- Support big data systems and analytics using Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and other big data technologies.
- Improve query management, database design, and data quality; collaborate in Agile software development and support business intelligence tools such as Looker.
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, software development, ETL pipeline development, data warehouse development, or a related area.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with cloud databases, SQL databases, data management integration, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of public cloud environments, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
- Analysis skills and the ability to troubleshoot data and pipeline issues.
- Preferred: experience with model training, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), shell scripting, and additional analytics or big data tools.
