Software Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions by developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the delivery of high-quality, innovative digital orthodontic products. Your Role:

• Perform integration, functional, system and regression testing.
• Definition and execution of manual test scenarios and test cases.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient code to extend our test automation framework.
• Collaborate closely across the various departments: R&D, Supply Chain, Training, Customer Care, QA/RA.to deliver effective solutions.
• Define and maintain comprehensive automated testing scripts to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot incoming operational issues and identify, document, track defects until resolved and deployed.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.

Do you have experience in UI?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or technical education or professional experience in computer science or relevant industry experience

• 3-5 years SW quality assurance/testing experience.
• Experience in the orthodontic domain is advantageous.
• Experience working in the highly regulated medical device industry is advantageous.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:

• Experience in writing software tests, good understanding of software testing concepts (for example: TDD, BDD, testing pyramid)
• Knowledge of Software development fundamentals
• Experience with at least one OOP language (e.g. Python, Java)
• Experience in SQL/database and scripting.
• Experience with UI Automation frameworks, e.g. Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Knowledge of test management tools and processes (e.g. Matrix Req. Xray) and issues tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
• Experience w/ Shift-Left, participation in refinements.
• Experience w/ CI and version control tools (e.g. Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
• Great attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong commitment to deliver high-quality results
• Strong communication skills
• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. German advantageous.
