• Pay: $93.77-112.80/hour based on your experience!!
• 12 months contract, with potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday-Friday - day time business hours (100% Onsite).
• Position will be mainly responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art RF and digital satellite communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs.
• Position will be responsible for developing and verifying multi-rate fixed-point digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms.
• Position will be responsible for conducting performance analysis of signal processing models and executing waveform development and characterization.
• Position will be responsible for performing trade studies, detailed system design, and systems verification activities.
• Position will be responsible for supporting the integration and testing of communication payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in-orbit operations.
• Position will be responsible for supporting HDL-level design and verification for target FPGAs or ASICs.
• Position will be responsible for collaborating across systems engineering teams, customers, program managers, and test engineers to drive project lifecycle deliverables.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field is Required!
• 5+ years of experience grounded in core digital communications and signal processing theory is Required!
• Hands-on experience in DSP and digital communications algorithms (equalization, Turbo/Viterbi coding/decoding, channel estimation, filter design, resampling theory) is Required!
• 3+ years of experience utilizing MATLAB or Simulink for modeling and simulation is Required!
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, architecture, trade studies, and verification) is Required!
• 1+ years of experience working with FPGAs or ASICs is Required!
• Ability to obtain security clearance is Required!
• Experience using lab test bench equipment (oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers) is Preferred!
• 14+ years of related technical engineering experience is Preferred!
• Experience leading engineering teams or guiding IR&D activities is Preferred!
