This hands-on individual contributor independently performs day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and well-defined project work. The position works within established architecture, security standards, and change-management practices, escalating high-risk design decisions and major platform changes to the IT Network Manager and senior IT leadership.

Microsoft Azure Administration:

  • Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, virtual machines, storage, monitoring, backup, and related cloud resources within established standards.

  • Support Azure connectivity, name resolution, access, availability, performance, cost visibility, patching, and resource health.

  • Implement approved Azure changes, troubleshoot service issues, and maintain accurate cloud diagrams, inventories, and configuration records.

  • Assist with Azure migrations, integrations, recovery testing, and modernization projects under defined technical direction.

Microsoft 365, SharePoint & Teams:

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, shared mailboxes, Microsoft 365 Groups, and related collaboration services.

  • Configure and support SharePoint sites, Teams, permissions, sharing settings, lifecycle controls, and approved information architecture.

  • Troubleshoot collaboration, synchronization, meeting, messaging, mail-flow, and access issues across Microsoft 365.

  • Support tenant configuration, service health, feature changes, adoption, and user guidance in coordination with IT and business stakeholders.

Identity, Endpoint & Security:

  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, roles, enterprise applications, application registrations, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, and guest access within assigned permissions.

  • Support Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, device configuration, compliance, application deployment, endpoint security, and mobile device management.

  • Monitor and respond to alerts and recommendations from Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft 365 security and compliance portals.

  • Implement approved remediation, security baselines, access reviews, lifecycle changes, retention, sensitivity, DLP, audit, and eDiscovery configurations.

Automation, Projects & Operations:

  • Use PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and approved automation services to improve repeatability, reporting, administration, and operational consistency.

  • Execute assigned cloud projects, migrations, tenant integrations, acquisition activities, and service improvements using documented scope, testing, communication, and rollback plans.

  • Use Freshservice and NinjaOne to manage incidents, requests, changes, assets, documentation, and operational work as applicable.

  • Create and maintain SOPs, diagrams, knowledge articles, configuration records, recovery procedures, and technical documentation.

  • Provide escalation support and knowledge transfer to the Service Desk and other IT team members.

What You Bring, * Azure and Microsoft 365 services are administered reliably, securely, and consistently within documented standards.

  • SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online configurations support effective collaboration while maintaining appropriate access and governance.

  • Identity, endpoint, and cloud security configurations are monitored, documented, and improved through approved remediation.

  • Incidents and service requests are resolved or escalated with complete troubleshooting evidence, risk context, and clear communication.

  • Assigned cloud projects, migrations, and configuration changes are delivered with testing, documentation, stakeholder communication, and rollback planning.

  • Manual administration is reduced through supportable PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and approved automation.

  • The IT team gains stronger Microsoft cloud knowledge through accurate documentation, knowledge articles, and practical knowledge transfer.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.

  • Working knowledge of Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, network security groups, monitoring, backup, identity integration, and cloud security fundamentals.

  • Experience with permissions, external sharing, Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams and SharePoint lifecycle, retention, sensitivity labels, DLP, audit, or eDiscovery.

  • Experience troubleshooting cloud access, authentication, synchronization, mail, collaboration, endpoint, and connectivity issues.

  • PowerShell experience and the ability to safely use scripts or automation for administration, reporting, and repeatable tasks.

  • Strong documentation, analytical, customer service, project coordination, and written and verbal communication skills.
