Fixed Income IT Trading Implementation Lead

You’ll work closely with trading, quantitative analytics, risk, operations, finance, and infrastructure teams across New York and London, leading complex initiatives involving Fixed Income, OTC Derivatives, Murex, and XVA., n \n

• Lead the functional design and implementation of Murex platform extensions supporting a new European booking entity. \n

• Own end-to-end delivery across solution architecture, system integration, testing, migration, and go-live. \n

• Lead geographically distributed technology teams and external vendors across North America and EMEA. \n

• Partner with traders, quantitative analysts, risk, finance, operations, and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. \n

• Drive initiatives involving Murex enhancements, XVA, derivatives processing, and risk and valuation technology. \n

• Establish governance, manage technical dependencies, and oversee delivery timelines and production readiness. \n

• Define sustainable support models and maintain functional ownership following implementation. \n

• Identify opportunities to improve platform resilience, operational efficiency, and technical architecture. \n

• 10+ years of experience in capital markets technology, ideally supporting Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives. \n

• 5+ years of hands-on Murex experience, including implementations, upgrades, platform extensions, or major enhancements. \n

• Strong understanding of front-to-back trading workflows, derivatives processing, and booking models. \n

• Experience delivering XVA, risk, or valuation technology initiatives. \n

• Proven experience leading complex, global technology transformation programs. \n

• Strong functional architecture skills, including translating business requirements into Murex configurations, integrations, and technical specifications. \n

• Experience collaborating directly with front-office trading desks, quantitative analysts, and risk teams. \n

• Strong stakeholder management, technical delivery, and cross-functional leadership skills. \n

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. \n

• Experience extending Murex platforms across multiple legal entities, regions, or booking models. \n

• Familiarity with European capital markets and regulatory requirements. \n

• Knowledge of Murex integration architecture, data flows, migration strategies, and platform resilience. \n
