Software Engineer

ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for a naval program onsite at NSWC Panama City Beach. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience in C++, Python, and shell scripting within Linux environments, along with the ability to work across both Linux and Windows platforms., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ and Python.

• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate processes and improve system functionality within Linux environments.
• Support software development, integration, debugging, and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify software requirements, resolve technical challenges, and implement solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Participate in software testing, documentation, and configuration management activities.

• Experience developing software using C++ and Python.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and working within Linux operating environments.
• Experience working with Windows operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and RHEL 9.
• Active DoD security clearance.
• Experience supporting software development in DoD or government contracting environments.
• Familiarity with software integration, testing, and version control tools.
