Class sizes typically range from 4 to 8 students. As a Teacher, you would be responsible for delivering fun and engaging to our STEAM K-12 learners. We provide all of our instructors with a detailed curriculum and lesson plans - but we also HIGHLY value creativity and freedom in our classes within that context.

The ideal candidate is someone with a learner mindset that has experience working with K-12 students and has basic knowledge of coding, technology, the arts, etc. Upon starting all Instructors will be provided with professional learning and training in our core technologies.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reviewing curriculum and/or preparing a lesson plan
  • Connecting with students on time
  • Ensuring learners have the required software and hardware for their lessons
  • Providing tech and instructional support
  • Attend regular Team and 1 on 1 Meetings.
  • And above all: Delivering high-quality instruction.

Requirements

MUST know how to use Unity and / or Unreal Engine 5.

  • College-educated or pursuing a degree in a related field of study.
  • Be willing to learn other technologies (like Python, Godot, Roblox, Fortnite, etc)
  • Credentialed K-12 Teachers Preferred (but not required)
  • Must have good “stage-presence” on camera and be able to engage students effectively in conversation.
  • A background in Classroom Teaching and/or Tutoring is highly desirable.
  • Knowledgeable about coding and/or technology
  • Learner mindset - things change very quickly in this field!
