Job description

About Doodie Calls: We take care of the dirty work, so our customers don’t have to. Since 2018 we’ve grown into a portable sanitation company working out of 4 states, serving construction sites, homes, special events and disaster relief. We’re the official partner of the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and Florida State Athletics. Every one of those stops starts with a route, and our Planning team builds them. How we work matters just as much as the work we do. The Doodie Calls Way is our commitment to being People Focused, putting Safety First, acting with Integrity, pursuing Operational Excellence, and delivering an exceptional Customer Experience. These values guide how we work together, serve our customers, and continue to grow. The job You’ll build and fine-tune the daily routes our drivers run, using ServiceCore. You’ll handle same-day and emergency service requests as they come in, and work with scheduling, dispatch and customer service to keep every stop on track. You’ll learn our trucks, drivers and customer sites inside out, and use the numbers to make routes faster and tighter every week. What You’ll Do

  • Build and optimize driver routes in ServiceCore for on-time, efficient service
  • Handle emergency and same-day requests, and adjust routes as needs change
  • Match the right driver, truck and equipment to each job
  • Learn each site’s and customer’s specific needs so service goes smoothly
  • Pull and analyze route timing and efficiency metrics, and share them in weekly team meetings
  • Work with customer service to resolve complaints in real time
  • Close out each day’s routing work by the end of the day, with nothing carried over, As a Routing Coordinator, success goes far beyond building a route-it means drivers finish their day on time and every customer gets served. A successful coordinator in this role achieves the following:
  • Tight, Efficient Routes: Drive time, mileage and overtime go down while stops per route go up.
  • Every Stop Covered: Same-day and emergency requests get worked in quickly without missed services.
  • Right Truck, Right Job: Drivers and equipment are matched to each site, so trucks aren’t sent back for the wrong gear.
  • Numbers That Drive Decisions: Your weekly metrics show where routes can improve, and the team acts on them.
  • A Clean Finish: Every day’s routing is wrapped up before you leave, so tomorrow starts ready.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in routing, dispatch or logistics, or a related college degree
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience pulling and interpreting performance metrics
  • Knowledge of the geography in our service areas, especially [Florida and Georgia]
  • ServiceCore or other routing software experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working across departments
  • A positive attitude and a drive to grow with the company

Benefits & conditions

  • $[24]-$[25]/per hour
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and supplemental plans
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Training on our routing system, fleet and service areas
  • Room to grow within Planning and Operations
  • Referral bonus
