Requirements

• 4-7+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network room operations, data center operations, telecommunications, or structured cabling.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fiber-optic cabling, patch panels, rack layouts, and physical network connectivity.
• Experience troubleshooting Layer 1 issues and using fiber-testing equipment such as OTDRs and optical power meters.
• Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting servers, switches, rack-mounted equipment, UPS systems, or PDUs.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, network connectivity, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure documentation, asset inventory, and ticketing tools such as NetBox, Nautobot, ServiceNow, or Jira., * BICSI Installer 2 or Technician certification.
• Experience with low-voltage construction projects, infrastructure buildouts, and contractor oversight.
• Familiarity with enterprise campus networking, DCIM/CMDB tools, and large-scale technology environments.
• RCDD certification is a plus but is not required.
