Router

· Use software and human intel to create geographical routes for loading and delivery

· Monitor metrics, confirming revenue goals are met, minimizing potential stop overloads

· Work with Transportation management to ensure equitable route assignments

· Organize deliveries to meet timeframe restrictions and special requests when possible

· Audit previous days routing

· Communicate with the delivery managers by phone and/or e-mails in a timely manner

· Assign/ reassign drivers as requested by managers

· Maintain the do not add report stays current and correct

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Microsoft Office Suite experience, moderate Excel skills

· Ability to use mapping software

· Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously

· Excellent Organization and communication skills

· Traffic background and/or bookkeeping skills are a plus
