Junior Software Developer

Pic The Gift is a B2B print-on-demand fulfillment company specializing in personalized products. We’re looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to help maintain applications, solve technical problems, and support our transition from a legacy ERP to a custom-built system.

You’ll work alongside our Senior Software Developer and CTO, gaining hands-on experience solving real business problems and building new applications.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with developing and improving business applications.
• Test software and troubleshoot applications, order data, and integration issues.
• Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate problems and identify solutions.
• Maintain existing systems and support our custom ERP development.

• 6 months to 2 years of software development or application support experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, JSON/XML APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
• Logical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Our Technology: JavaScript, Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Retool, n8n, Cursor, REST APIs, Postman, AWS, and DigitalOcean. Experience with these tools is a plus.

Skills Assessment

Candidates must complete a basic JavaScript assessment with screen sharing. The assessment must be completed independently, without AI tools or outside assistance. This allows us to evaluate your programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $52,000 - 60,000 depending on experience, + 401(k) with company match, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts
