Firmware Engineer

• Translating requirements into clean, reliable embedded firmware
• Developing multi-threaded applications for control-driven systems
• Understanding, improving, and extending existing codebases
• Creating test suites and supporting system-level validation
• Maintaining and organizing source code with a disciplined approach
• Hands-on testing with real hardware in a lab environment
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to on-time delivery

• Degree in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering + ~5 years’ experience
• Strong C/C++ and Linux fundamentals
• Experience with embedded controls and real-time data processing
• Bonus: system identification exposure
• Python or VBA for test automation (nice to have)
• Desired experience with EEPROM, SPI, CAN, Serial, Flash drivers
• Familiarity with RTOS platforms like VxWorks, QNX, Windows CE, Linux
• Clear communicator with a proactive, ownership-focused mindset
