AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as S3, VPCs (Virtual Private Clouds), IAM (Identity and Access Management), and other cloud management tools.
• Automate deployment processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure repeatability and scalability.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments integrating AWS with other platforms like Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace, VMware, OpenStack, and Citrix to support diverse enterprise needs.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices architectures utilizing Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and serverless technologies for SaaS applications.
• Implement system hardening techniques and security best practices across Linux and Windows operating systems to safeguard cloud environments against threats.
• Collaborate with development teams on DevOps automation initiatives using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability of critical services.

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure within public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, web services, and distributed systems design principles.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Rackspace Cloud, or Citrix environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for scalable deployment solutions.
• Knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols including VPNs and Virtual Private Networks; experience with system hardening practices is a plus.
• Background in computer science or related fields with a focus on cloud development, software engineering principles, or DevOps methodologies.
