Nutanix & VMWare Engineer

Ngenium is seeking a highly skilled Virtualization & Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience across Nutanix and VMware platforms. Ideal candidates will possess certifications in one or more of the following tracks and demonstrate strong capabilities in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade virtualization, cloud, and automation solutions., * Design, implement, and optimize virtualization and cloud infrastructure using Nutanix technologies.

• Lead migrations from VMWare to Nutanix platforms supporting enterprise data center modernization, cloud foundation deployments, and hyperconverged infrastructure initiatives.
• Deliver scalable solutions for compute, storage, networking, automation, and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across virtualized environments, cloud platforms, and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure performance.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational best practices to internal teams and customers.

• NPX - Nutanix Platform Expert

Experience across Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism, NC2, NDB, NUS, and Kubernetes platforms is a plus.

VMware Certifications

Candidates with experience or certifications in one or more of the following VMware tracks are encouraged to apply:

• vSphere / Data Center Virtualization (DCV)
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Network Virtualization (NSX)
• Cloud Management & Automation (Aria)
• Tanzu / Kubernetes Operations (TKO)

Relevant VMware certifications may include:

• VCP (Professional)
• VCAP (Advanced Professional - Design/Deploy)
• VCDX (Expert)
• 5V0 Specialist Badges (NSX, Aria, Tanzu, Carbon Black, etc.)

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, and cloud foundation architectures.
• Experience with automation tools (Aria, vRealize, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes platforms (Tanzu, Nutanix Kubernetes Platform).
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, micro-segmentation, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with storage systems, distributed systems, and cluster operations., * 5+ years of experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, or data center engineering roles.
• Advanced Nutanix and VMware certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience in enterprise or service provider environments is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
