Job description

Develop and maintain the system architectural design for Lithium-Ion Battery Systems, Super Capacitor Modules (SCAP), and Battery Management Systems (BMS) based on approved system requirements. Define system elements, subsystems, logical and physical architecture, interfaces, communication topology, operational modes, and allocation of requirements to hardware, software, mechanical, diagnostics, functional safety, and cybersecurity domains. Establish and document system decomposition including battery pack, battery module, cell monitoring units, BMS controller, contactor system, sensing elements, thermal management system, and Super Capacitor integration. Define internal and external interfaces, interface control specifications, and system interaction models. Perform architectural trade-off studies, feasibility assessments, and technology evaluations to support product development decisions. Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, reuse, and compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational guidelines. Maintain bidirectional traceability between system requirements and architectural elements. Collaborate with software, hardware, validation, functional safety, cybersecurity, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure complete and effective allocation of system requirements. Conduct architecture reviews, impact assessments, and change management activities. Ensure Automotive SPICE SYS.3 compliant work products, reviews, baselines, and configuration management for all system architectural deliverables.
