Software Development Engineer (SDE) | United States

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you’ll design, build, test, and maintain software that supports reliable, scalable applications. You’ll collaborate across the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and shaping system design to releasing and improving solutions. Apply your strengths in software engineering and keep learning across tools, programming languages, and technical approaches., * Develop web and application software using suitable programming languages, frameworks, and software design patterns.

• Design REST (Representational State Transfer) and RESTful APIs (application programming interfaces), microservices, and scalable systems.
• Build front-end features with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks; work with SQL (Structured Query Language) databases such as MySQL.
• Use version control and CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery) practices to test, review, and release code.
• Collaborate in Agile software development, contribute to system design, and support cloud infrastructure and IT infrastructure.

• Experience in software development, web development, application development, or software engineering; familiarity with Agile methods is useful.
• Knowledge of REST, APIs, design patterns, scalability, and system design for system development.
• Relevant tools and technologies may include Ruby on Rails, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Linux, Git, GitHub, SVN (Apache Subversion), React, and Express.
• Additional programming experience with Java, Python, C, C++, or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is useful; familiarity with RBAC (role-based access control) or quantum engineering is a plus.
