Job description
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage users, permissions, file systems, LVM, and storage.
- Automate administrative tasks using Shell/Bash scripting and Ansible.
- Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot networking issues, including DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, and firewalls.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and production system support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Linux system administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of RHEL/Unix environments and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with Shell scripting, Ansible, and patch management.
- Knowledge of networking, security, monitoring, and virtualization.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS/Azure, VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- RHCSA/RHCE certification is a plus.
