SAP Developer

ATICO is seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Software Engineer with expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP Payroll platforms. In this role, you will support and optimize payroll processes through ongoing development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations.

You will work with SAP ABAP, payroll schemas, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and related technologies to support application integration and resolve issues during the Hypercare phase of a major transformation program.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed problem solver with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting complex SAP Payroll environments., * Develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions supporting SAP Payroll.

• Provide ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using SAP CPI, including Groovy scripting.
• Investigate and resolve application issues during the Hypercare support phase.
• Support software development, application integration, scripting, and SaaS application configuration.
• Analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, ensuring timely resolution and completion.
• Contribute to application stability, payroll process optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Substantial experience in SAP ABAP development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building integrations using SAP CPI, including Groovy scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll, including on-premises SAP Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll.
• Broad understanding of SAP concepts, capabilities, and full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply software development principles to complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a fully remote team.
• U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience using JIRA.
• Familiarity with additional SAP technologies, including Fiori, UI5, SAP BTP, AL11, and OData.
• Experience developing and supporting web service integrations.
