IT Project Coordinator

Project Coordinators work to assist project managers with the coordination of resources, project schedules, budgets, equipment orders, and meetings.The team’s focus is on network infrastructure projects, and they utilize ServiceNow to assign work to others on team., * Assist project managers in maintaining and monitoring project schedules, work estimates and actual work hours

• Create project related purchase requisitions and purchase orders, monitor and track shipment and delivery of ordered equipment, reconcile, and validate invoices related to purchases.

Assist project managers in managing detail project budget and project finances. Research and resolve budget variances that are identified.

• Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings as appropriate.

Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Analyze project data, and identify trends, issues and risks

• Assist in preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Providing administrative support as needed.
• ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

• Day-to-day: Collaborate with Project Managers to create purchase orders, place and track orders, and investigate project financial discrepancies or issues to identify root causes and support timely resolution.
• 3 must-have skill:1-3 YOE project coordinator, project support, corporate support, and detail-oriented. Organization skills. Someone who will grow into a PM.
• 3 nice-to-have skills:MS Project, IT infrastructure (data center)

Education or certs: Degree required, preferred in IT or PM., 1-2 years’ experience is preferred working in a project management environment., * Bachelor’s (Required)

Experience:

• MS PROJECT: 2 years (Required)
• IT infrastructure: 1 year (Preferred)
