Senior Software Engineer C# / .NET, Microservices & Payments : 26

The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of features for client’s marketplace purchase platforms, focusing on payments infrastructure and transaction processing systems. The role involves designing and developing scalable microservices, maintaining high-volume and highly available applications, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of payment platform features using C# and ASP.NET Core/.NET Core.

• Design and develop cloud-based microservices, preferably using AWS.
• Build and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
• Develop and optimize database solutions across relational and NoSQL platforms.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentoring to improve code quality.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with distributed Agile teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.

• 8+ years of software development experience with C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-based architecture, preferably AWS.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Kafka or messaging technologies such as AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience building high-volume, highly available systems.
• Strong technical leadership, code review, mentoring, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Payment systems and transaction-based applications.
• Omnichannel ecommerce platforms.
• Front-end development experience with Vue.js.
• Interest or experience in the hobby gaming industry.
