This role will be responsible for designing and implementing GIS-based web applications, configuring Enterprise services, supporting geospatial infrastructure, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable GIS solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong GIS expertise with modern web development skills and experience supporting enterprise-level ArcGIS environments. Senior ArcGIS Enterprise / Experience Builder Developer (Contract) Recommended Requirements Required Experience 5+ years developing applications on the Esri platform 3+ years with ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store) Experience with: o ArcGIS Experience Builder o ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.x o ArcGIS Web Maps and Feature Services o ArcGIS Enterprise security and authentication o ArcGIS Utility Network environments o Experience Builder widget configuration and customization Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development skills Experience with REST APIs and integrations Experience consuming and editing feature services Preferred Experience Electric or Gas Utility GIS experience Utility Network implementation experience ArcGIS Field Maps Survey123 ArcGIS Dashboards Python automation with ArcGIS API for Python SQL Server and enterprise geodatabases Branch versioning workflows ArcGIS Enterprise administration knowledge Responsibilities Design and develop ArcGIS Enterprise web applications. Build and enhance Experience Builder applications. Develop custom widgets and extensions where out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient. Integrate GIS services with enterprise systems. Optimize application performance and scalability. Support deployment across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments. Work with GIS analysts, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements. Document application architecture and deployment procedures. Troubleshoot Portal, web service, and application issues. ArcGIS Enterprise Administration & Configuration Configure, maintain, and support ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including: Portal for ArcGIS ArcGIS Server ArcGIS Data Store, ArcGIS Web Adaptor Publish and manage GIS services, map services, feature services, and geoprocessing services. Configure user roles, permissions, groups, sharing settings, and security protocols. Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity planning. Assist with upgrades, patching, migrations, and disaster recovery planning. GIS Web Application Development Design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS applications leveraging: ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript ArcGIS Experience Builder ArcGIS Web AppBuilder ArcGIS Instant Apps ArcGIS Dashboards Build custom widgets, tools, and workflows to support business requirements. Develop responsive applications optimized for desktop and mobile users. Integrate geospatial services with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
