Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, Windows systems, Microsoft cloud technologies, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have a solid systems engineering background along with practical security engineering experience.

• Hands-on senior systems engineering experience with Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and PowerShell.
• Strong experience managing hybrid infrastructure and independently troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Practical security engineering experience, including SIEM/EDR monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening.
• Security monitoring experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
• SentinelOne experience.
• Darktrace experience.
• Vulnerability management experience, including Qualys scanning and remediation.
• Strong general infrastructure and systems engineering experience., * Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, security engineering, or infrastructure security.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure.
• Solid understanding of hybrid identity, MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access.
• Practical experience with SIEM/EDR monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security hardening.
• Strong PowerShell Scripting and automation skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• SentinelOne, Darktrace, Qualys, Tanium, Zscaler, and/or Okta.
• SIEM/EDR administration, security-log ingestion, and detection engineering.
• Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI and VMware-to-Azure Local migrations.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Cloud infrastructure migrations and automated operational reporting.
• CISSP, GIAC, Microsoft, Azure, or other relevant security certifications.
