Information Systems Data Migration SAP (Applications) SAP Implementation SAP Enterprise Asset Management SAP Ariba

Job description

Are you a seasoned SAP EAM professional ready to make a significant impact on critical enterprise systems? We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge Enterprise Asset Management solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming how our client manages its assets, directly influencing operational efficiency, reliability, and strategic decision-making across the organization. Your expertise will drive the full lifecycle of SAP EAM projects, from conceptualization to post-go-live support, shaping the technological landscape and empowering business units with robust, future-proof solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead hands-on functional configuration and design for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), including PM/SM and PS modules.
  • Drive full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations, encompassing business requirements gathering, workshops, gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and ongoing support.
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes by assessing current states, identifying customer requirements, and defining future-state business solutions.
  • Translate detailed business requirements into comprehensive systems design documents and implement them effectively within SAP.
  • Capture business capability and functional requirements, along with expected service levels, to create EAM solutions that align with an actionable business-IT roadmap.
  • Collaborate with EAM architects to identify opportunities for emerging technologies, advising business leadership on their impact on existing technical and information system environments.
  • Ensure business and functional requirements are consistently maintained throughout the development and configuration processes.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the client, vendors, project management, and technical teams for solution architecture questions, issues, and revisions.
  • Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, validating these decisions to ensure deviations from standard functionality are justified and deliver positive value.
  • Provide expert consulting services for both new SAP implementations and existing support projects.
  • Offer ad-hoc training and user support as needed, empowering end-users with system proficiency.
  • Work autonomously and independently, often acting as a subject matter mentor to less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in designing, customizing, testing, implementing, and managing enterprise asset management solutions/systems.
  • Experience in a minimum of 2 full-cycle greenfield/brownfield SAP implementations.
  • Proven experience with converting new acquisitions or mergers into existing technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with current technology implementation patterns and best practices.
  • Strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas, both verbally and in writing, to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of integrating SAP enterprise modules (e.g., CRM, MM, FI) with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
