Job description

We are currently looking for a Mainframe Engineer to join an infrastructure team responsible for maintaining and upgrading mainframe environments. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in mainframe systems and is capable of working independently on installation, updates, and support tasks., * Install, maintain, and upgrade mainframe systems and third-party software.

  • Ensure system availability, stability, and performance through regular monitoring and patching.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide 2nd/3rd line support.
  • Collaborate with other infrastructure teams when needed.
  • Participate occasionally in on-call duties and planned technical operations outside business hours.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mainframe environment.
  • Hands-on experience with z/OS and mainframe tools.
  • Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your scope.
