Identity & Access Management (IAM) Contractor

Our direct client is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Contractor to support a large enterprise environment of approximately 15,000 users. This individual will help manage daily IAM operations while assisting with an environment cleanup initiative that will establish the foundation for future IAM projects., * Enterprise IAM environment supporting thousands of users

• Experience supporting Microsoft identity technologies
• Experience working within ticket-driven support environments
• Experience assisting with IAM cleanup, remediation, or optimization projects

Environment

• Enterprise environment supporting approximately 15,000 users
• Supports identity services across multiple business units
• High-volume operational support averaging:
• 25-30 tickets per day per analyst
• Approximately 2,500 IAM tickets per month

Project Focus

The contractor will primarily assist with:

• IAM operational support
• Identity environment cleanup and remediation
• User provisioning and deprovisioning
• Access requests and access management
• Identity-related troubleshooting
• Supporting foundational work for future IAM initiatives

• 2 - 5 years of I Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience - Required

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required

· 2+ years of broad IT experience working within a large enterprise preferred

· 2+ years of experience performing user provisioning duties and security administration in Active Directory, Unix, and other Operating Systems and applications preferred

• Hands-on Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration
• User Lifecycle Management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes)
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) understanding
• Authentication & Authorization concepts
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Active Directory administration
• Basic scripting ability (PowerShell preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills, * Highly analytical
• Customer-focused
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple requests
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment

· 6 month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs.

• Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite

  Monday and Friday remote

• Standard schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
