Software Engineer Senior Consultant IIWork Arrangement: HybridThe Software Engineer Senior Consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams todesign, develop, test, and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions. This roleapplies agile and extreme programming (XP) practices such as test-drivendevelopment, paired programming, and continuous integration to create scalable andmaintainable systems. The position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solvingability, and a collaborative mindset to support business needs while mentoring juniorteam members.Participate in iteration planning meetings to ensure a shared understanding of userstories and team backlog itemsEngage in daily standups (site, cross-site, and product teams) and practice pairedprogramming and test-driven development as part of daily workContribute to retrospectives by identifying opportunities for process or productimprovementCollaborate in designing systems and applications that meet technical and businessrequirementsEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment practicesProvide production support for software products in user environmentsServe as a subject matter expert within a specific business domain, demonstratingleadership and accountability across teams and forums (including ECC and SWAT calls)Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to the overall technical growth of theteamCoach and mentor junior engineers on software development best practices and XPmethodologies3-5 years of software development experience - Spring Boot or similar frameworks and REST APIs and working with databases (relational, NoSQL,caching)3+ years of experience hands-on experience developing software using Java andJ2EE1+ year applying Test Driven Development (TDD) and Extreme Programming (XP)practices within an Agile environmentStrong understanding of computer science concepts and object-oriented designprinciplesFamiliarity with continuous integration and DevOps tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub,Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, or Maven and AWS, Azure, or other modern cloudenvironments and Kafka or similar technologies and Sonar, Fortify, or Contrast, Postman, Bruno; ELM tools like DataDog, ADX or similar

• 3-5 years of software development experience - Spring Boot or similar frameworks and REST APIs and working with databases (relational, NoSQL,

caching)

• 3+ years of experience hands-on experience developing software using Java and

J2EE

• 1+ year applying Test Driven Development (TDD) and Extreme Programming (XP)

practices within an Agile environment

• Strong understanding of computer science concepts and object-oriented design

principles

• Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOps tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub
