Full-Stack Engineer

Platform Development

• Help design, build, and maintain both the frontend and backend of a new internal AI-powered platform - from writing your first feature to seeing it run in production
• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and cloud services, AI APIs, and internal data sources
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code across the full stack (Python backend + React/TypeScript frontend)

AI & Automation

• Integrate generative AI and LLM capabilities into the platform - helping business teams find information faster, answer questions, and automate repetitive tasks
• Learn and apply agentic and tool-calling patterns with guidance from senior engineers

Collaboration & Requirements

• Partner with business teams to understand their day-to-day workflows and translate them into working software features
• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, and sprint planning alongside senior engineers and product stakeholders
• Communicate progress, blockers, and tradeoffs clearly - to both technical and non-technical audiences

Security & Governance

• Implement and follow secure authentication and access control practices (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC) appropriate for sensitive business data
• Apply data governance principles to ensure the platform handles information responsibly and compliantly

Engineering Practices

• Contribute to and follow team best practices - unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Work within CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy features to production environments
• Use observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting) to understand how the platform is performing in the real world

Iteration & Improvement

• Gather and act on real user feedback to improve features over time
• Balance speed and reliability - shipping incrementally while maintaining production quality

Level: Entry-Level / New Grad (0-2 years experience), * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

• Relevant coursework: Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, Cloud Computing, Databases, Software Engineering, or AI/ML

Technical Skills

Languages & Frameworks

• Proficient in Python - coursework, projects, or internships
• Exposure to React and TypeScript - built UI components or personal/class projects
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web application architecture

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Introductory experience with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) - even via free-tier projects or coursework
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and deployment concepts
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

AI / Generative AI

• Awareness of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) - class projects, hackathons, or self-study
• Curiosity about agentic patterns, tool-calling, and AI-powered workflows is a strong plus

Security & Auth

• Conceptual understanding of authentication and access control (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC a plus, but not required)
• Awareness of data privacy and secure coding practices

Soft Skills & Work Style

• Eager to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders - can translate business needs into technical requirements with guidance
• Comfortable asking questions and iterating - doesn’t need perfect specs to get started
• Takes ownership of tasks end-to-end, from design through testing and deployment
• Writes clean, readable code and values good engineering practices (testing, documentation, code reviews)
• Excited about working on real, production-grade software - not just academic exercises
