• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies. \n

• Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway). \n

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources. \n

• Develop and consume RESTful web services, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. \n

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering best practices in software development, code quality, and architectural design. \n

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans. \n

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. \n

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of production systems. \n

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and practices to enhance development processes. \n

CBTS is searching for a Senior backend Java/J2EE/AWS developer that will provide technical leadership and expertise in designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications. This role requires deep proficiency in Java/J2EE development, extensive experience with AWS cloud services, expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and a strong background in building and consuming web services., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. \n

• 9+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with a focus on enterprise-level applications. \n

• Expert-level proficiency in Java programming, including Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security). \n

• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures. \n

• Proven experience designing and implementing IaC using Terraform. \n

• Demonstrable expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services. \n

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices. \n

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). \n

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies. \n

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. \n
