ECC Migration Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support a new AWS application cloud migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong backend Java development experience along with expertise in Spring, microservices, web services, databases, messaging, and AWS Cloud. Hands-on experience participating in an actual application migration to AWS is highly preferred., * Lead and contribute to the migration of existing applications to AWS Cloud.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend Java applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful web services and microservices.
• Work extensively with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Work with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Support application integrations using IBM MQ and other messaging technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams throughout the migration.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and application modernization.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements., Preferred: AWS certification. Experience with Amazon SQS or other messaging platforms.
