Networking Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and latency problems
• Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
• Ensure network security through proper segmentation, firewall rules, and access controls
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Collaborate with systems, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects
• Support cloud and hybrid networking (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP connectivity)
• Assist with disaster recovery, backup connectivity, and business continuity planning

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT)
• Experience with routing and switching protocols
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and security appliances
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and wireless networking
• Familiarity with cloud networking (a plus)
• Scripting or automation skills (a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Clear documentation and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
