Job description

The Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure asset refresh and other infrastructure related projects. This role focuses on organizing project activities, assisting with scheduling, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring smooth execution of hardware and infrastructure refresh cycles. Working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders, this position helps maintain project momentum, track progress, and support the delivery of reliable infrastructure updates. The ideal candidate will have foundational IT project management experience and feel comfortable working with infrastructure teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project coordination or project management, preferably supporting infrastructure or hardware related initiatives.

  • Basic understanding of infrastructure technologies such as networks, servers, storage, end-user devices, and IT hardware lifecycle processes.

  • Experience assisting with or coordinating asset refresh, deployment, or rollout projects is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track details, and support project documentation.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Good problem-solving abilities and comfort escalating issues that require further expertise or decision-making.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, Excel, SharePoint).

  • Knowledge of project phases and standard project documentation such as plans, schedules, risks, issues, and status reporting.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, adapt to shifting priorities, and support continuous improvements in the asset refresh process.

  • Understanding of IT lifecycle processes such as SDLC or infrastructure deployment cycles is a plus.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred. Project management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is a plus but not required.

  • Relevant infrastructure or IT operations certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Cisco, AWS) are beneficial but optional.
