  • Track, prioritize, and document support requests, keep employees informed, and coordinate with other IT team members when issues require additional support.
  • Assist with device support and deployment using tools such as Microsoft Intune and Workspace ONE.
  • Document solutions, identify recurring problems, and suggest ways to improve support.
  • Recognize and escalate suspected security issues according to established procedures.
  • Partner with Systems Administrators and Engineers on IT projects, taking on additional responsibilities as your skills develop.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting gained through education, certifications, hands-on projects, or work experience.
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • A customer-focused approach, patience, and a willingness to help employees with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to organize work as priorities change.
  • The ability to work independently, ask questions when needed, and collaborate with a team.
  • An interest in learning new technologies and developing your IT skills.

An associate degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant training, certifications, and equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered. Previous professional IT experience is welcome but is not required.

Helpful Experience-Not Required

  • Understanding networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPN connections.
  • Using ticketing systems such as Zendesk and remote troubleshooting tools.
  • Imaging computers, migrating user data, or supporting devices through Microsoft Intune or Workspace ONE.
  • Supporting Autodesk or other business applications.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, relevant Microsoft certifications, or familiarity with ITIL service management practices.
