• The team operates in an Agile development environment to assign, track, and manage software activities and requirements
• This position provides an opportunity to expand Java development skills while working with modern technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces
• The ideal candidate is a collaborative software engineer who can contribute across design, development, installation, testing, and quality activities in support of mission requirements, * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java
• Participate in Agile software development activities, including requirements analysis, task planning, implementation, testing, and status tracking
• Design and implement complex algorithms while adhering to strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints
• Perform quality control reviews of software products developed by the team
• Implement recommendations for improving software documentation and development process standards
• Collaborate with team members and the customer to derive software requirements and understand project limitations, system capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces
• Develop and maintain software that meets documented technical and operational requirements
• Coordinate software system installation activities
• Monitor system and equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are met
• Support troubleshooting, software integration, and problem resolution activities
• Develop and maintain technical and software documentation
• Participate in peer reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
• Experience designing or implementing complex algorithms with timing, resource, or interface constraints
• Experience performing software quality control or peer review activities
• Experience supporting software installation, integration, and operational validation
• Experience working with customers or technical stakeholders to derive and refine software requirements

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
