Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to drive an enterprise modernization project-converting legacy Oracle Forms applications into modern, secure, and high-performing Oracle APEX applications running on Oracle 19c., 1. Convert legacy Oracle Forms into modern APEX user interfaces.

  1. Write and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code.
  2. Implement application security, user roles, and authorization models.
  3. Tune database queries and support system releases/deployments.

Requirements

  • Oracle APEX: 5+ years of hands-on experience building modern web applications.
  • Oracle PL/SQL: 5+ years in advanced PL/SQL (Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, & Complex Queries).
  • Database & Tools: Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (19c) and hands-on tool usage with SQL Developer or TOAD.
  • Performance Tuning: Proven expertise in debugging, optimizing, and performance tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Integrations: Experience with Web Services integration and basic data modeling principles.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Legacy Oracle Forms modernization/conversion experience.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum, Java, XML, HTML, and SOA Architecture.
  • Experience crafting technical documentation and system architecture guides.
