Your Future Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make component-level technical decisions and build secure, scalable services.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and operational readiness.
  • Guide implementation teams and align development with enterprise standards.
  • Strengthen automated testing and software delivery practices.
  • Resolve complex issues across services and distributed applications.
  • Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate technical trade-offs and document implementation decisions.

Requirements

  • Java: 8+ years of advanced Java experience, including collections, streams, exception handling, JVM concepts, multithreading, concurrency, functional programming, and reactive programming. Familiarity with Java 8, 17, and 21 features.
  • Spring Boot and Microservices: Strong experience with REST APIs, dependency injection, input validation, centralized exception handling, configuration management, and Actuator.
  • Application Security: Hands-on experience with Spring Security, JWT authentication, JPA/Hibernate, and transaction management.
  • Microservices Architecture: Ability to define service boundaries and implement resilient, scalable services using circuit breakers, distributed transaction patterns, and production monitoring.
  • Angular: Strong skills in component structure, services, RxJS, state management, routing, API integration, and UI performance optimization.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, IAM, ECS, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and networking fundamentals.
  • Serverless and Event-Driven Applications: Experience implementing solutions with a focus on availability, security, operational readiness, and cloud costs.
  • Technical Leadership: Ability to lead component and service implementation, evaluate technical trade-offs, document implementation decisions, and mentor developers.

Desired Skillset

  • Apache Kafka: Producers, consumers, topics, consumer groups, event streaming, error handling, and performance tuning.
  • Docker and Kubernetes: Container optimization, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • CI/CD and DevOps: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, including build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release practices.
  • API Integration: OpenAPI/Swagger, authentication, authorization, versioning, and API contracts.
  • UI Test Automation: Playwright and LambdaTest for reusable UI automation, regression testing, cross-browser execution, and troubleshooting unreliable tests.
  • AI Development Tools: GitHub Copilot or similar tools, including guidance on generated-code reviews, test coverage, and security.
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Strong root-cause analysis, stakeholder communication, Agile collaboration, and ownership of delivery risks.

Educational Requirements
