NET Senior (IV) Engineer Opportunity

• START / END: November 2, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with possibility of extension. The state cannot post any job beyond the end of the current fiscal year, so while many jobs could run for multiple years, their initial posted end dates are capped at June 30 and require renewal.

• POSITIONS / SCHEDULE: Two positions; 40 hours/week; day shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work (potentially twice a month); this is not an on-call position.
• 2 positions however; has to be someone currently in WI [valid license and/or work history for WI based clients])., The Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IV is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of applications and support for business requests. The person in this role will manage integrations. This project requires knowledge of full stack development. This is an application support position.
• Design, develop, and implement web-based applications using the .NET framework to support business requirements, including ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, C#, C++, C, Bootstrap, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Implementing or using security controls directly into the software development lifecycle, including GitHub Advanced Security.
• Experience ensuring enforcement and advancement of security and DevSecOps standards through secure development practices, vulnerability remediation prioritization, automated testing, performance monitoring, and compliance with organizational security frameworks.
• Provide support for security including vulnerability remediation, participation in security initiatives, escalation support for cybersecurity incidents. • Development and support of web-based applications using .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core (5-8+ years).
