Job description

patient experience, remove confusion, and help patients feel more in control of their care.

We do this by helping healthcare systems, payors/providers, and physicians clearly

communicate with their patients, with help, guidance, and instruction as to what next steps

to take.

We’re a small, fast-moving startup building marketing engagement and care coordination tools for healthcare organizations. Our platform helps healthcare providers and health systems connect with patients through smarter, more personalized outreach powered by AI. This is all done while keeping compliance and data privacy front and center. While we primarily focus on digital and postal outreach, we also provide some post-click and care coordination services. We’re a lean team, which means your work will have a direct, visible impact on the product and our customers. We value letting people play to their strengths, and so we will take your input into consideration when determining the tasks and projects you work on., We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who’s comfortable owning features end-to-end, fixing bugs, and working on client requests. You’ll work closely with our founders and a small engineering team, so we’re looking for someone who’s self-directed, communicates well, and is excited to help shape both the product and our early engineering culture. In addition to product development and internal features, you’ll also work directly with clients to help deliver products that meet their needs.

Healthcare experience is a plus but not required, what matters most is that you enjoy problem solving and are a self-starter. You will learn the domain-specific parts (HIPAA-aware development, PHI handling, etc.) on the job.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features across our core products
  • Participate in architecture and technical decisions as we scale the platform
  • Communicate with clients to create and maintain robust integrations with their systems
  • Write, maintain and review code with the help of AI
  • Help establish engineering practices (CI/CD, testing conventions, documentation) as an early technical hire
  • Collaborate directly with product/design and other stakeholders to translate requirements into working features and products

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python for backend/API development with Flask
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for frontend and Node.js backend work
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations)
  • Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL/document database
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on Google Cloud Platform
  • Comfort working across the entire stack. Important that you’re not afraid to touch infrastructure, backend, or frontend as needed
  • Ability to work in a small fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication skills to aid in discussing updates and new features with clients
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex

Nice to Have:

  • Professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Sprint driven environment
  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or another regulated industry (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks)
  • Experience with marketing technology, CRM systems, or engagement/messaging platforms
  • Familiarity with React or , Express.js
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
  • Startup experience, especially at a small early stage company
  • Familiarity with System One models such as Jev

Benefits & conditions

  • Real ownership - your decisions will directly shape our architecture and product, not get lost in a large engineering org
  • Meaningful work - help healthcare organizations build better, more connected relationships with their patients
  • Small, agile team - work directly with founders and experienced teammates, no layers of bureaucracy
  • Compensation - competitive salary + benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Dental insurance
  • Flexible schedule
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
