We are looking for a talented, entrepreneurial AI & Full-Stack Development Manager who is excited about building something new and helping shape the technological foundation of a growing healthcare organization.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on technology development and innovation role, not a position focused solely on advising or managing external developers.

You will work directly with the Founder to design, build, and launch our digital platforms, develop generative and agentic AI applications, automate workflows, and establish the technical infrastructure for innovative healthcare and research initiatives.

You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, technology developers, and external innovators to explore and implement new technologies.

This is a hybrid position requiring regular physical presence in Cincinnati, including participation in technology development, innovation lab activities, and collaborative projects.

We are seeking someone who enjoys taking ideas from concept to working applications and is comfortable building systems from scratch., AI & Agentic AI Development

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI applications using large language models and APIs.
• Build agentic AI systems capable of executing multistep tasks, integrating tools, and automating complex workflows.
• Develop AI-powered assistants, chatbots, knowledge systems, and intelligent applications.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), document processing, and structured information extraction.
• Integrate AI capabilities into websites, research platforms, and internal operations.
• Establish appropriate AI testing, monitoring, human oversight, and safety measures.

Full-Stack Website & Platform Development

• Design, build, and maintain our website and digital platforms from the ground up.
• Develop frontend and backend applications, databases, dashboards, portals, and APIs.
• Build online registration, scheduling, client engagement, and administrative systems.
• Integrate AI-powered features into digital services and user experiences.
• Manage cloud hosting, deployment, system integrations, performance, and application security.
• Evaluate existing technologies and software solutions to accelerate development and minimize unnecessary costs.

Healthcare Research & Digital Platforms

• Help design and develop secure digital platforms supporting healthcare research and registries.
• Build electronic registration, consent, questionnaires, and longitudinal data collection systems.
• Develop AI-assisted tools for clinical data extraction, organization, analysis, and reporting.
• Support integration of clinical, molecular, and research data.
• Develop research dashboards and automated reporting workflows.
• Incorporate healthcare privacy, security, and applicable regulatory requirements into platform design.

Workflow Automation

• Identify opportunities to automate administrative, operational, marketing, and research processes.
• Develop workflows connecting websites, databases, communication systems, and external applications.
• Implement automation using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom programming.
• Develop intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency and reduce repetitive manual work.

Healthcare Innovation & Collaboration

• Work with the Founder to explore and develop innovative healthcare technology initiatives.
• Support the establishment and technical activities of an innovation lab.
• Identify and evaluate emerging AI applications, digital health tools, wearable technologies, and other healthcare innovations.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
• Collaborate with healthcare innovators, technology companies, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in technology demonstrations, pilot projects, and evaluation activities.
• Help identify opportunities for research collaborations and technology partnerships.

Technology Strategy & Implementation

• Recommend practical, secure, and scalable technology architecture.
• Develop technical roadmaps, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate AI platforms, software vendors, and development tools.
• Coordinate external technical resources when necessary.
• Document systems and establish reliable development and maintenance processes., * Help build a physician-led healthcare startup from the ground up.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in full-stack software or web application development.
• Strong programming skills using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
• Practical experience building applications using generative AI and large language model APIs.
• Experience developing agentic AI applications, AI agents, tool integrations, or intelligent workflow automation.
• Experience with databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and software deployment.
• Familiarity with application security, authentication, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy functional applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work in an early-stage startup environment.
• Ability to work regularly on-site in Cincinnati as part of a hybrid schedule., * Experience developing technology solutions in healthcare, digital health, clinical research, or life sciences.
• Experience in oncology, cancer research, precision medicine, or cancer-related healthcare applications.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and secure clinical information systems.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.
• Experience developing clinical research registries, electronic consent systems, or healthcare data platforms.
• Experience with clinical data analysis, molecular information, or clinical trial matching.
• Experience with wearable devices, remote monitoring, or digital health technologies.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare innovators, researchers, or technology companies.
• Experience developing technology products or platforms from concept to launch
