Job description

The Senior Manager, Technical Lead Reporting & Analytics for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) owns the target architecture, technical roadmap, architecture standards, and material design decisions for the FDI platform. The role remains hands-on through prototypes, complex design work, technical reviews, and resolution of high-risk issues, while routine build and deployment execution is led by the FDI Implementation team. The associate will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements and lead technical teams and system integrators to build effective solutions and provide expert advice and support throughout the project lifecycle and beyond. In this role, the candidate will assume technical ownership of product delivery and advocate for appropriate industry standards and best practices that align with the company’s technology framework, guidelines and polices., * Own the current state and target-state FDI architecture and technical roadmap, including environments, pipelines, warehouse layers, semantic models, security, integrations, performance, monitoring, and operational readiness.

  • Serve as the final technical decision authority for FDI solution design and document architecture decisions, alternatives, tradeoffs, risks, and rationale.

  • Define architecture principles, approved patterns, nonfunctional requirements, design guardrails, quality gates, and exception criteria for scalability, security, maintainability, supportability, and upgradeability.

  • Determine whether requirements should be addressed through Oracle-delivered content, configuration, semantic extension, data augmentation, integration, or custom development.

  • Lead architecture discovery, fit-gap, and design workshops and translate business needs into conceptual and logical solution designs.

  • Review and approve designs for subject areas, conformed dimensions, measures, hierarchies, calculations, row-level security, data lineage, augmentations, integrations, and reporting experiences.

  • Approve material changes to architecture, security models, integration patterns, semantic design, and nonfunctional requirements.

  • Define architecture checkpoints and approve readiness to proceed into build, integration testing, performance testing, and production deployment.

  • Build architecture prototypes and proofs of concept to validate product capabilities, complex semantic extensions, integration patterns, security models, and performance assumptions.

  • Perform hands-on semantic modeling, SQL analysis, configuration review, troubleshooting, and performance diagnostics for complex or high-risk components.

  • Lead technical design reviews and root-cause analysis when issues indicate an architecture, product, scale, or cross-platform concern.

  • Provide technical direction to the FDI Implementation team, developers, analysts, administrators, Oracle, and the System Integrator.

  • Review System Integrator and internal-team designs, resolve cross-workstream design dependencies, and ensure conformance with approved architecture standards.

  • Maintain architecture diagrams, decision records, standards, risks, dependencies, and technical-debt plans.

  • Explain architecture options, risks, effort, and long-term support implications to business and technical leaders.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify the solution, reduce unnecessary customization, and improve platform reuse and governance.

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, and ERP analytics, including at least 3 years serving as a Lead Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Architect.

  • 3+ years of people management experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading the architecture of end-to-end FDI implementations and making decisions across environments, pipelines, security, semantic models, extensions, integrations, performance, deployment strategy, and production readiness.

  • Significant hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (ERP Analytics), Oracle Analytics Cloud, and BI Publisher.

  • Experience governing System Integrator designs and coordinating architecture across multiple technical workstreams.

  • Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic models, subject areas, conformed dimensions, measures, hierarchies, calculations, data lineage, and data security.

  • Strong SQL, data analysis, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance-diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and risks to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Fusion ERP.

  • Experience with FDI data augmentation, semantic model migration bundles, EPM data, external sources, and enterprise integrations.
