Jr .Net Developer

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET 8.0, supporting new functionality, application improvements, and ongoing maintenance across multiple applications.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using Blazor, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React.js, with a focus on functionality, usability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement and maintain application functionality across frontend and backend components, ensuring reliable integration between user interfaces, application services, and databases.
• Integrate and maintain REST APIs and other application interfaces, troubleshoot integration issues, and assess the impact of changes to external APIs and dependent services.
• Integrate front-end applications with AWS services.
• Ensure application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and maintain application queries and database interactions with Oracle, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliable application functionality. Collaborate with database administrators on complex queries and database-related issues as needed.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application defects and production issues, with particular attention to frontend functionality, application behavior, and system integrations.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow established coding standards and version control practices to maintain application quality and reliability.
• Identify and resolve application performance issues, improve application responsiveness, and support the stability and reliability of production applications.
• Follow established secure coding practices and applicable program security requirements when developing, modifying, and maintaining applications that support U.S. Navy missions.
• Document application changes and technical solutions, collaborate with developers, system engineers, database administrators, and other technical team members, and support the investigation and resolution of cross-system issues.
• Collaborate with site reliability engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot application issues in Kubernetes-based environments, as needed.

Years’ Experience: 2+ years professional development experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or IT related field.

Clearance: Applicants must currently possess an active Secret security clearance or higher-level security clearance. United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.
