Systems Project Engineer in United

• Ability to read drawings and visualize details in three dimensions. \n

• Attention to detail required. \n

• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and their installation. \n

• Excellent problem-solving skills. \n

• Effective communication abilities. \n

• Possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to effectively lead employees in the estimating group. \n, * 3+ yrs. with a conveyor manufacturer and/or systems integrator. \n

• Valid Driver’s License. \n

• SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PMP, PE or other professional certification a plus. \n

• Basic computer knowledge, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet, QuickBooks, AutoCAD.

• Perform detailed analysis for equipment sold against desired function, and adjust, change as needed while maintaining scope and budget. \n

• Develop detailed SOW (mechanical, electrical, Controls, and WCS functionality). \n

• Document final detailed engineered specifications to insure successful implementation and operation, and function. \n

• Select vendors, defining, finalizing, and documenting the intended use. \n

• Prepare detailed drawing packages, for Approval, Permits, & Installation. \n

• Specify equipment and consult with vendors on project needs and deliverables. \n

• Provide all project documentation and project support to the PM group for project management and implementation. \n

• Coordination- Facilitate effective communication and efficient resource deployment within the department as well as within the organization. \n

• Insure a pro-active communication process back to sales team is in place so concepts, ideas, designs, etc can be implemented up-stream to minimize repeatable errors and great ideas can be used as a competitive advantage during the sales cycle. \n

• Prioritizing workload effectively and responding to all teams in a timely fashion. \n

• Execution- Ensure the commitments are fulfilled. This includes working with the Sales Team to finalize concepts to meet customer investment. \n

• Develop a description of operation and work with electrical control vendors to finalize. \n
