Job description

Design and develop secure, scalable, accessible, and high-performing native iOS applications using Swift and Apple development frameworks. Build reusable UI components and user flows using SwiftUI and UIKit, following established design systems and Human Interface Guidelines. Apply appropriate architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, or coordinator-based navigation. Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services; manage authentication, authorization, caching, retries, timeouts, and error states. Implement concurrency and asynchronous processing using async/await, structured concurrency, Combine, or Grand Central Dispatch as appropriate. Use secure storage and platform security capabilities to protect credentials, tokens, customer data, and sensitive application state. Develop unit and UI tests using XCTest/XCUITest or equivalent tools; support regression and device testing across supported form factors. Profile and optimize application startup, responsiveness, battery use, networking, memory, and rendering performance. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to convert Figma designs, prototypes, and accessibility requirements into accurate mobile experiences. Participate in solution design, estimation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Support build automation, code signing, provisioning, CI/CD, TestFlight distribution, App Store release readiness, and production monitoring. Troubleshoot production issues, remediate defects, reduce technical debt, and improve mobile engineering standards.

Requirements

5-10 years overall; 4+ years of recent mobile application development. Expertise in Swift and iOS SDK and SwiftUI and UIKit. Experience with modular applications, shared frameworks, design systems, or Swift packages. Knowledge of push notifications, deep links, universal links, background tasks, analytics, and crash reporting. Exposure to Appium or another cross-platform mobile automation solution. Experience with cloud-based mobile services, feature flags, remote configuration, and observability tooling. Familiarity with static analysis, dependency scanning, secure SDLC controls, and mobile application security testing. Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and E2E tests. Strong understanding of version control with Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software
