Systems Engineer, VDI (SQL Server and Windows Server) w/Secret C

We are seeking a Systems Engineer, VDI (SQL Server and Windows Server) to join our team supporting the DLA Enterprise IT Architecture (EIA) Support Services task order under JETS 2.0 in an off-site (remote) location., * Engineer and maintain the Windows Server and SQL Server back end that supports DLA’s Citrix VDI environment

• Support Citrix and Azure engineering tasks, including builds, upgrades and integration
• Patch and harden servers and databases to STIG and IAVM requirements
• Automate recurring engineering and reporting tasks
• Troubleshoot escalated VDI infrastructure issues and support root cause analysis

• Location: Off-site (remote or contractor site); on site at a DLA site as needed for SIPRNet work
• Type of environment: Remote or contractor site, with on-site work at DLA as needed

• Work schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
• Amount of Travel: Less than 10% (the task order does not fund travel; on-site SIPRNet work as needed), This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC).

• Five years of systems engineering experience and five years of SQL Server experience
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 and a current Microsoft certification
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
• Willing to sign a Letter of Commitment for the proposal and available to start December 1, 2026

Certifications:

• Citrix CCA-V or CCP-V certification, and AZ-104 or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (both required)
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification
• Computing environment certification from the current DLA approved Computing Environment Certification List

Target salary range: $120,000 - $170,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
