Network Engineer

• Deploy, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot network equipment in mobile and remote environments.
• Support SD-WAN technologies, including WAN connectivity, routing, failover, and performance optimization.
• Work with cellular, LTE, and 5G connectivity and remote communications equipment.
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber-optic infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, power, configure, and integrate switches, routers, and related hardware.
• Use command-line interface (CLI) tools to configure and troubleshoot network equipment.
• Diagnose network issues using the OSI model, from the physical layer through the application layer.
• Troubleshoot Ethernet, fiber, cellular, VLAN, IP addressing, routing, switching, and WAN connectivity issues.
• Work with AC and DC power systems, including power distribution, grounding, redundancy, and safe equipment integration.
• Install, replace, upgrade, and bring network equipment online at remote and mobile sites.
• Read and interpret network diagrams, equipment documentation, rack elevations, and cabling plans.
• Test and validate equipment operation and network connectivity following installation or maintenance.
• Document configurations, network changes, installations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, vendors, and field personnel to resolve technical issues.

• Hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, Network Technician, Field Network Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE), VLANs, switching, routing, and WAN technologies.
• Experience with cellular, LTE, or 5G connectivity and remote network equipment.
• Working knowledge of fiber-optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to rack, cable, power, configure, and integrate network hardware.
• Strong CLI experience with network equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically using the OSI model.
• Working knowledge of AC and DC power systems used with network or telecommunications equipment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to remote or mobile deployment locations.
• Ability to lift and support equipment weighing up to 25 pounds., * Experience with 5G/LTE routers, modems, antennas, and cellular failover solutions.
• Familiarity with fiber testing equipment, including OTDRs and optical power meters.
• Experience with remote power systems, UPS equipment, DC power distribution, or telecommunications power infrastructure.
• Understanding of BGP, OSPF, static routing, BFD, NAT, VPNs, IPsec, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN and IOS-XE technologies.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+, or equivalent hands-on experience., * Network Engineering: 4 years (Required)

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
