New College Grad - Data Scientist, AI for Business Functions

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will work with business partners and data science professionals to develop analytical solutions that address real-world business challenges. You will apply statistical modeling, machine learning, optimization techniques, and generative AI technologies to analyze data, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making across the enterprise., * Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges.

• Design, develop, and implement predictive models, forecasting solutions, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Apply generative AI, large language models (LLMs), optimization techniques, and simulation models to improve decision-making and business outcomes.
• Develop visualizations, reports, and presentations that communicate analytical findings and recommendations to partners.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience through coursework, internships, research projects, academic projects, hackathons, or data science competitions.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience using Python and common analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, data visualization, and analytical problem-solving techniques.
• Experience using SQL and AI-enabled technologies, including generative AI and large language models (LLMs), to support data analysis, business insights, or solution development., * Experience working with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics, forecasting, optimization, simulation modeling, or machine learning solution development.
• Experience applying generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI-assisted analytics within business contexts.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, and partner engagement skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
