Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure and AWS technologies
- Build and optimize large-scale data transformation solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL
- Develop data ingestion frameworks supporting structured and unstructured data sources, including APIs, databases, JSON, and flat files
- Implement data governance, security controls, RBAC, data quality standards, and Change Data Capture (CDC) processes
- Collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, and software engineering teams to support enterprise modernization efforts and maintain production data environments
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data engineering and cloud data solutions
- Strong expertise with PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and/or AWS Glue
- Experience developing cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing CDC frameworks, and supporting data governance and security requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Active Secret Clearance
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000+ depending on experience
