Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Build and optimize database queries, data models, and application workflows.
• Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
• Support cloud-based application development and infrastructure integration.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or Go.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, or Django.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend development.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development tools.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
• Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, or distributed systems is an advantage.
