Job description

We are seeking a senior, hands-on full-stack developer to work alongside our existing senior developer in a coding-intensive role. The two senior developers will initially work as peers, sharing development responsibilities and collaborating on architecture, priorities, schedules, and technical decisions. The successful candidate will gradually assume primary technical and project ownership as the existing senior developer steps back., * Design, develop, test, and maintain web application features using ASP.NET Core, C#, Razor, SQL Server, and Azure.

  • Work with Blazor Static SSR, applying established ASP.NET Core MVC and Razor development skills.
  • Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and implementation decisions.
  • Work across the full application stack, with a strong emphasis on hands-on software development.
  • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Help define milestones, identify risks, document technical decisions, and keep development work moving forward.
  • Review code, troubleshoot production issues, and help maintain software quality and development standards.
  • Over time, assume primary responsibility for technical direction, development planning, project schedules, documentation, and software delivery., * Have a meaningful influence on architecture, implementation, and product direction.
  • Work in a small, focused company where individual contributions are visible and important.
  • Spend the majority of your time designing and writing software rather than managing people.

If you are an experienced ASP.NET Core MVC developer who enjoys writing production software and would like to gradually assume technical and project ownership of an established SaaS platform, we would like to hear from you. This role is suited to someone who wants meaningful responsibility for architecture, execution, documentation, and delivery without moving away from hands-on development and into traditional people management.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience developing web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC.
  • Strong experience with Razor views, server-side rendering, and modern ASP.NET Core application architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, LINQ, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser-based web development.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or another modern CSS framework.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, code reviews, and automated build and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a software product or substantial development project from requirements through implementation, release, and ongoing support.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Blazor, particularly server-side rendering or Razor components.
  • Experience transitioning between ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor Pages, and Blazor.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and DaisyUI.
  • Experience developing or modernizing SaaS applications.
  • Experience working in a small development team with significant individual responsibility.

Prior Blazor experience is a plus, but not required. We are primarily looking for a strong ASP.NET Core MVC developer who can readily apply those skills to our Blazor-based application., * A strong, hands-on software engineer who expects to spend the majority of the workday designing, writing, reviewing, and troubleshooting production software.

  • Deeply experienced with ASP.NET Core MVC and Razor, and comfortable learning and working with Blazor.
  • Comfortable initially working in tandem with another senior developer and gradually assuming primary technical and project ownership.
  • Interested in leading a software project through technical expertise, organization, sound judgment, and accountability rather than through personnel management.
  • Organized and disciplined about requirements, documentation, priorities, testing, milestones, release planning, and development cadence.
